Types of extractor

Type 1 spring loaded, retained by disc on side, most common on the standard Nikko ie 5000, as used by Perazzi, Cogswell, Beretta

Type 2 Spring loaded and floating, mostly used on Shadow Indy

Type 3 floating, retained by v Spring underneath extractor, depressed through hole in extractor slide, mostly used on Winchesters and Classic Doubles, as used by Browning, Miroku
